A collaborative Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop by Balancing Edges and Myndr Ltd.

Balancing Edges provides Mental Health training to companies in all sectors all over the UK. All courses are accredited by MHFA England.

Myndr was created by Entrepreneurs Emma Reilly & Lizzy Hodcroft because of their frustrations with the lack of options for mental health care. They don’t talk about Mental Health they take action instead.

Balancing Mynds

Join Leigh Cowlishaw and Gavin Percy of Balancing Edges along with Emma Reilly and Lizzy Hodcroft of Myndr Ltd for a truly different approach to Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Real people share real stories of their struggles with mental health and hope along with training from Mental Health First Aid Trainer, Gavin Percy.

There is a charge to attend of £19 per person to cover costs but this includes refreshments, working buffet lunch and car parking.

Gavin Percy – Managing Director – Winning Edges Consultancy Limited.

Originally a Business Development Strategist specialising in assessing and improving sales performance and sales processes to positively impact revenue – often through training, coaching and mentoring of the sales team.
For the last six years has been running his own Sales, Marketing and Training Consultancy for the Hospitality Industry – Winning Edges. Following some Mental Health issues close to him Gavin has decided to specialise in Mental Health First
Aid Training to improve attitudes to Mental Health in the workplace. This will improve morale; loyalty; productivity and employee wellbeing. Gavin is the nominated trainer for the HBAA in this area

Leigh Cowlishaw

Leight is an experienced leader in the meetings and accommodation arenas providing specialism in Strategic Meetings Management, on line distribution strategies, as well a focus on proposition, strategy and industry disruption.

Prior to these roles; Leigh held the position at Capita Travel and Events for six years as Director of Proposition – Accommodation and Meetings. 

Appointed in 2016 to the HBAA Chair of the Association, in which Leigh sits on the board today and champions Mental Health awareness for the association and across the industry

Lizzy Hodcroft – CEO / Director of Content Myndr Ltd

Lizzy is the co-founder of Myndr, a new mental health software for the business market. As well as beong an experienced Award-Winning Food Entrepreneuer (who appeared on Dragons Den in 2018), she is also a popular motivational speaker and recently made her debut at TEDx. 

Lizzy has many years personal experience of mental health, having spent time in recovery facilities in the United States due to depression, self-harm and addiction. 

Emma Reilly – CTO / Chief of Product Myndr Ltd

Emma is an experienced web designer and developer having worked her way up from unemployment to self-employed with the support of The Prince’s Trust.

Emma is a recovering Social Phobic and spent many years as a recluse due to Social Anxiety. For over 15 years she has battled Depression, OCD and Bipolar before before going on to co-found Myndr with Lizzy in 2018. At the height of her Entrepreneurial journey, she was diagnosed with Endometriosis and has become an advocate for womens health at work.
